Hey all. My grandmother wants a song that came out in 1997, called butterfly kisses by bob carlisle. She and I were on the way to tampa then and heard a version of it with a little girl narriting the whole thing while he sings. She needs it now for a dance she wants to do at her church. You probably don't know what I am talking about but I thought I might ask. Does anyone know of that one? Or where I could find it?
No. I don't know where you can get the song. However, I did go out with google and look for "butterfly kisses" and found the lyrics.
It's a beautiful song. Any daddy with a daughter should read it.
Thanks for posting.
Bob
Bob, you went out with Google? Can't you get a real date?
Seriously, I vaguely remember the song. I think it was one of those
songs that was released by two artists at around the same time, one country singer and one that got played on soft rock stations. I'm sure you could find it with a little searching on amazon.com or sites that sell music.
Well, Becky, at least I can pick a winning football team.
And, since you've asked, both google and I are adults, so what we do in the privacy of our home is okay.
I don't want to turn this into one of those zing contest, so I probably won't post here again, except to say, "butterfly kisses" is a good song.
Thanks for asking about it the_queen_of_r&b.
